Fr. Joseph W. Kenshol

In a civil suit filed in 1995, the individual was accused of engaging in the act of providing adolescent boys with comprehensive oil massages within the confines of the rectory at Sacred Heart Parish. Subsequently, the claims were resolved for an undisclosed sum of money after the underlying lawsuits were dismissed by both the Court and the Appeals Court. The Diocese, acknowledging the behavior as “immature and inappropriate,” deemed it to be indicative of a lack of sound judgment but nothing beyond that. Astonishingly, despite these circumstances, the individual was permitted to resume their duties within the ministry. As of January 11th, they remain actively involved, as stated on the Grand Rapids website.
