Fr. John Tupper

Ordained to serve the Diocese of Grand Rapids, this individual later joined the newly established Gaylord diocese in 1971. They also embarked on a missionary journey to Brazil from 1980 to 1989 alongside the Franciscan Friars. However, their faculties were revoked in August 2002 following reports from an individual who claimed they had engaged in inappropriate behavior with a minor approximately three decades earlier. As the investigation unfolded, another person came forward with similar allegations.Their name was included on the Gaylord diocese’s list of individuals deemed credibly accused in April 2021.
