According to the report from the Michigan Attorney General on October 22nd, a male individual came forward to the diocese in 2002, disclosing that he had been a victim of sexual abuse by Anderson during the years 1963 to 1967. These incidents occurred when the individual was in grades 1 to 5 at St. Agnes in Iron River. The abuse reportedly involved acts of sodomy. The victim claimed to have informed his teacher about the abuse, only to be labeled as a liar. As a result, he was prohibited from returning to the school for his 6th-grade education. Another man came forward in 2020, alleging that he too had been abused by Anderson at the age of 9 in Kingsford, Michigan. It is important to note that Anderson passed away in 1981.
