According to the report released on October 22nd by the Attorney General of Michigan, the diocese was informed in July 2004 about an accusation made by a family member of Oulette. The allegation stated that the priest had committed sexual abuse against the individual when they were 13 years old, during a visit to Minnesota. It is important to note that Oullette passed away in 1998.
