Fr. Dennis D. Duggan

Expelled from the parish on 3/02 following a “credible” accusation of misconduct, this individual staunchly refuted the claims while acknowledging struggles with alcohol dependency. Disturbingly, a minimum of five separate instances of abuse were reported during the 1980s and 1990s. Consequently, the archdiocese deemed it necessary to initiate a church trial in 2004. The official announcement of their laicization arrived on 4/20/07, and to further compound the gravity of the situation, their name was subsequently included on the archdiocese’s roster of individuals deemed to have credibly committed misconduct on 6/10/19.
