Placed on leave on July 2nd, this individual had previously worked in both Detroit and Livonia parishes. From 1989 to 2001, they were assigned to the Archdiocese of Military Services. Disturbingly, they were accused of abusing five youths over a span of time ranging from 1963 to 1987. It is worth noting that the police were aware of an allegation in 1987, but the file was sealed. As a result, the Vatican took action and placed them on permanent inactive status with no privileges in June 2006. This individual passed away on January 8th, 2018. Their name was later included on the Erie diocese’s list, which was released on April 6th, 2018. This list contained the names of priests, lay employees, and volunteers who were accused of sexually abusing minors. Additionally, their name also appeared on the Detroit archdiocese’s list, which was released on June 10th, 2019.
