Fr. Gary Bueche

Bueche’s parish assignment was abruptly terminated on 4/02 due to the shocking revelation that the archdiocese had discreetly reached a financial settlement with a male victim who had accused the priest of sexual abuse during his tenure as a high school chaplain. As a consequence, Bueche was relocated to archdiocesan offices for an extended period before eventually being permitted to resume his pastoral duties. However, his involvement as a co-conspirator in a civil case filed in 5/04 led to his permanent removal from public ministry. To further compound his disgrace, Bueche’s name was officially included on the archdiocese’s list of individuals deemed credibly accused on 6/10/19.
