Fr. Ronald Vincent Gronowski

Diocese: Diocese of Gaylord MI
Ordained: 1969
Status of Accusation: Accused

After being ordained for the Diocese of Saginaw, he assumed the role of priest for the newly established Gaylord diocese in 1971. However, his tenure came to an end in May 2002 when an examination of his personnel file revealed allegations from 1995 regarding his involvement in sexual misconduct with a teenager during the 1970s. He openly acknowledged his actions and issued a public apology. Consequently, he was permanently barred from engaging in public ministry in 2002. His name was subsequently added to the Saginaw diocese’s list on April 10, 2019, further highlighting the gravity of his actions.
